Scene: Nathan and Quentin playing basketball, Quentin is telling Nathan to work harder.
Voice Over: “Hardest part of saying goodbye, Is having to do it again every single day.”
Quentin and Lucas are in Lucas’ office near the gym, Quentin tells Lucas “Well, well prodical coach has returned”.
Voice Over: “Everyday we face the same truth but life’s fleeing.”
Scene: Quentin and Skills are in Skills kitchen in his apartment.
Quentin: “It’s cool Coach Taylor, I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
Scene: Skills is reading the local paper where it says that the Ravens will retire Quentin Fields jersey.
Scene: Haley and Jamie are driving down the road past the gas station where Quentin was killed.
Voiceover: “And to honor the fallen, We must live your lives well.”
Scene: Haley and Jamie are at Quentin’s grave site. Jamie puts a toy basketball on the grave and asks Haley what is written on the grave.
Haley: “You will soar with wings like Eagle and you will not grow weary.
Jamie: Is there basketball in heaven?
Haley: I know there is
Jamie: How long has it been
Haley: 8 days
Scene: Nathan and Deb are in Nathan’s kitchen.
Deb: Well at least your talking to me.
Nathan: How was I suppose to act you said your banging one of my best friends at the funeral.
Deb: Well if I am going to continue to live here we need to talk about this.
Scene: Nathan puts Deb’s bags on counter.
Deb: Your kicking me out?
Nathan: Say hello to Antwan for me.
Scene: Peyton and A Musician at her office.
Peyton see’s a famous musician playing guitar in her office and wonders why he is here. He tells that that he found an empty guitar and decided to play. She tells him that she has his records in her office.
Scene: Haley and Jamie are walking through the cemetery. Haley is there trying to convince Jamie that Dan isn’t dead. She tells him that people usually buy their headstones so that they are ready for when they die.
Scene: Brooke and Therapist.
Therapist tells Brooke that she thinks what happened to her was just a random act. Brooke tells the therapist that nothing her mother does is a random act.
Commercial Break
Scene: Deb and Carrie
Deb is sitting on a bench in a park and a voice asks Deb which kid is her’s. The camera then shows Carrie sitting next to Deb. Deb tells her that her kid isn’t here. Carrie then says “The blonde kid with blue eyes a real cutie”. Deb tells Carrie that she was the kids nanny but she was just fired. Carrie tells her that she’s been there and then tells Deb that people don’t appreciate how hard it is to be a nanny these days. Carrie tells Deb that if it was here she would do whatever it takes to stay in the little boys life. Deb has a cautious look on her face.
Scene: Brooke and Therapist
The therapist asks Brooke if there has been abuse in her family. Brooke says if you call credit card limit and no supervision abuse. Brooke tells Therapist that she thinks Victoria hired someone to beat her up. Therapist finds that hard for Brooke to believe. Brooke then tells her she probably thinks she is crazy. Therapist says she doesn’t and says that have a lot to talk about.
Scene: Lucas and Nathan
Lucas is joking about Deb and Skills dating. Nathan will go to the game but for Quentin not for Skills. Nathan tells Lucas that his mom wasn’t dating his best friend when Lucas tells Nathan that his mom dated a younger guy to. Lucas jokes that when people called him Skills that maybe it wasn’t for basketball.
Scene: Haley and Jamie at Dan’s
Haley and Jamie go to Dan’s house. Jamie asks Haley why there is so many papers and she doesn’t know. Haley knocks on the door but there is no answer. She says maybe he’s not home. She knocks again. Then Haley tells Jamie to stay outside as she is going to go in after turning the knob and seeing that the door is unlocked. Haley whispers “please don’t be rotting on the floor or something” and walks in as we shift scenes.
Scene: Deb and Antwan at his apartment
Skills opens the door and he see’s Deb. Deb tells Skills that she was kicked out by Nathan. Skills is surprised that Nathan took it out on Deb even knowing he was mad. Skills asks her to stay at his house. Deb tells him she has worked so hard to get back into Nathan and Jamie’s life. Deb is trying to easily break it off with Skills, However Skills isn’t letting her. Deb tells Skills that for the sake of her family they have to end their relationship.
Peyton and a Musician at her office
Peyton tells him he was at the center of everything. She touts his ego. The musician tells her that he stopped recording because he didn’t have anything left saying. Peyton tells him she has a lot of questions for him as she puts her jacket on and asks what’s wrong cause it looks like he seen a ghost. He says maybe he has because the jacket she put on was her mom’s jacket and tells Peyton she looked just like her. Peyton is adjusting the jacket and has a state of shock look riding on her face.

Peyton and Musician by the river
Peyton asks how he knew who she was. He tells her about the time her mother got sick and wrote about Peyton in her line notes. Peyton asks if he knew her dad and he says no that he doesn’t think anyone knew her dad.
Scene: Hailey at her house
Hailey is calling around to find Dan. She leaves a message in case Dan pops in. Skills walks into the room and asks if Nathan is around and Hailey tells him he is safe. Hailey wonders why Skills is in a down mood. He tells her that Deb broke up with him. Hailey says that Deb has done some crazy things in her life and she didn’t think Skills would be one of them. Skills tells Hailey he really had feelings for her. Hailey compares Deb to a cougar. Skills asks for Hailey’s help but she doesn’t want to get in the middle of it. Skills then pleads with her again and Hailey tells Skills she will give it a try. Hailey tells Skills why doesn’t he just man up and talk to Nathan
Scene: Brooke and Therapist
Therapist notices that Brooke calls her mother, Victoria. Brooke said she insisted after going into business together. Therapist asks why she got into business with her and Brooke tells her she wanted her to love her. Therapist asks if she still wants that. Brooke tells her she bought a gun. Therapist tells her that’s not uncommon. Brooke tells the therapist that it occurred to her that it wouldn’t bother her if her mother was dead. She wonders why she thinks that way. Therapist tells she maybe she should ask her mother.
Nathan and Hailey at the school
Hailey tells Nathan that Deb broke up with Skills. Nathan says he shouldn’t of been sleeping with his mother. Hailey then makes a comparison of the time when Hailey was sitting at a table in school all by herself and Nathan was sitting at the jocks table. Hailey then changes course and talks about Dan that Jamie freaked when he seen Dan’s head stone so she had to take him to his beach house but that he wasn’t there. Nathan says he hasn’t seen him in weeks and that maybe he’s playing mind games. Hailey then says that there is so much stress on Jamie first with Quentin and now Dan. Nathan then reminds Hailey of what they talked about but never said what is was.
Scene: Lucas at Quentin’s house
Lucas is talking to Quentin’s younger brother. Q’s brother tells Lucas that people said he will be just like Q when he’s older and that he will be 9 feet tall. Lucas tells him to come see him in 10 years and Quentin’s mother says “little early to be recruiting”. Q’s mom welcomes Lucas over and asks him to come in.
Scene: School Yard
A fighting is breaking out between a bunch of high school girls and one of the main girls in the fight is the new girl Samantha. Hailey tells Samantha “congratulations on getting into your first cat fight”. Samantha doesn’t want to hear it asks she tells Hailey that she has heard everything about her from the time she was a cheer leader to dating the star of the basketball team and even going on tour. Samantha then walks off and tells her that she will see her in detention before calling her Hannah Montana.

Brooke, Hailey and Jamie at Hailey’s House
Hailey tells Brooke that she found her shop lifter. Brooke tells Hailey she knew she wanted to Tree Hill High. Hailey then tells her that she’s new and she just wanted some new clothes to wear to school to impress people with. Brooke tells to keep her away from her store. Jamie is looking up a maniquan’s dress and Hailey tells him to get away before she plucks his eye balls out. Hailey then asks if she’s mean and Brooke says she is a nice parent and a good one. Brooke seems a little down and Hailey asks if she is ok and she says “yeah but I wish I had a family like yours” to which Jamie replied “You do, Your Aunt Brooke. As the girls smile
Scene: Peyton and The Musician
Peyton talks about Ellie to the man and then the man tells Peyton that he knew her father a little bit. He tells her that he loved Ellie and that they had one of the greatest romances ever. He tells her that they were always together and that is how all relationships should be. Peyton tells him that her fiancee would kill her if he didn’t get to meet him and asks if he liked basketball. He asked Bobcats? to which she replied Ravens.
Scene: Nathan and Jamie at their house
Nathan has prepared soup for Jamie. Jamie tells Nathan that Nanny Deb makes him sandwhich with two pickles on the side. Nathan tells Jamie that he is getting soup and asks when Nanny Deb is coming back, To Which Nathan says he doesn’t know. Jamie asks is it because they were kissing and Nathan asks if he knew about that. He tells Nathan that they said they were getting something out of the eye but they were to mushy. Jamie doesn’t think it’s a big deal but Nathan does. Nathan says it’s different when they were kissing and it was wrong. Jamie tells Nathan that he lets him kiss his mommy and Nathan looks puzzled and walks off telling Jamie to eat his soup.
Scene: Hailey’s classroom
Hailey tells the class that tonight they are retiring Quentin’s jersey and she hopes they all attend so no homework. Hailey tells Sam to stick around. Hailey tells her that her paper on Quentin was very good and that maybe she should concentrate on her writing instead of shop-lifting. Sam says she doesn’t know what she’s talking about to which Hailey tells her that her best friend owns the store and she isn’t pressing charges. Hailey then tells Sam that Brooke got her a gift but Sam isn’t homeless and doesn’t want charity. Hailey tells Sam she doesn’t know what she is going through but if she wants to talk she is here.
Scene: Basketball Gym
The team is watching people put up the drape over Quentin’s jersey when Lucas comes in and tells them to go get ready for the game. Skills asks Nathan for a word as Jamie leaves he says “Hi Grandpa” Skills tells Nathan that he knows his relationship looks like a bad porno to which Nathan says this isn’t helping as he told Skills he’s here to support the team and doesn’t have anything to say to Skills. Skills told him he didn’t want to say anything just listen. Skills tells Nathan that Deb makes him happy. Skills says that he and Deb don’t want to anything to hurt . Nathan tells him it’s to late for that. Skills tells him that he really cares about her and thanks him for letting him use his court.
Scene: Lockeroom
Lucas is talking to the team before the game. Lucas tells the team that he suffered a loss when he played just like they did. Lucas says that Whitey told them that the game will carry them through the pain. Lucas then introduces Quentin’s mom. She tells the team that she heard people feel guilty about playing tonight but they shouldn’t. Quentin would want them to play tonight. She says if she don’t want to play Andre will. Lucas then introduced a jersey to the team with “Q 44″ on it so the team can carry it around on the court with them. As the team was heading out they tapped Q’s locker and slapped Andre and Jamie’s hands on their way out.
Scene: In the gym
Lucas is addressing the crowd. Lucas tells them that they honor the fallen. Lucas says that Quentin will forever be in their hearts. Lucas tells them that as long as the gym is standing Quentin will still be here. Quentin’s mom and brother then drop the drape to show Quentin’s jersey hanging on the wall to the applause of the crowd. They then give a moment of silence
Scene: Carrie at Nathan and Hailey’s house
Carrie is talking to Chester the rabbit. Carrie then grabs Jamie’s clothes as she says it’s for the road trip. She then runs her finger in dust and says people are lost without her. She tells the rabbit it’s a good thing he can’t talk or it would be her dinner tonight
Scene: Victoria’s house
Victoria opens the door and Brooke walks in and into the frontroom. Victoria asks what she is doing in New York. Brooke puts her gun down and tells Victoria that they have some catching up to do.
Scene: Gym
Lucas tells what players will go on the court but it’s only 4. They are leaving the 5th spot on. Ref tells them they need 5 unless their bench is hurt. Lucas tells the ref the whole bench is hurt. The crowd is applauding the team as they go out. Skills tells Lucas this may be greatest loss he’s ever seen. Lucas tells him sometimes it’s not about winning but it’s about you.
Scene: Victoria’s house
Victoria wonders why she is here and Brooke tells her like she doesn’t know. Like she didn’t have her attacked. Victoria asks if she went to the police. Brooke tells her that she raised her better she protected company first. Victoria says she would never purposely harm her. Brooke says that’s from the same person that when she had a drug problem she would be able to work around it. Brooke tells Victoria that when her friends were suffering from a loss she felt nothing. She just felt cold and that she’s turning into the person she doesn’t want to turn into her mother. Victoria doesn’t know what to say. She gave her everything she wanted but Brooke didn’t get the love she wanted. Victoria tells her she didn’t even want kids and that her father wanted a son. When he didn’t get that he left and went to anyone’s bed he could. Victoria said that when she had a girl she made sure she never had kids again. Brooke tells Victoria that it’s not her fault after all as she gets up. Brooke tells Victoria she can have it all the magazines, clothing line and that she got what she always wanted.

Scene: Gym
We seen final score and it’s 68-61 Ravens loss. Lucas tells that that years from now the record books will show a loss. The record books however won’t show that a four man Ravens team made the Wildcats scratch and claw to a victory in the game. Lucas said that tonight they showed a team will always be more important then statistics. He tells them they should all be proud of themselves because he is. A member of the team tells Lucas they will play with 4 for the rest of the season. Lucas tells that it’s been an honor. The team leaves and the crowd is there clapping for the team.
Scene: Parking lot
Peyton and Musician talk about staying a little bit. Musician says he might stay to record a little bit. Peyton tells him she was thinking maybe he would be her father. He says that would be something and he will see her later.
Scene: School
Sam is seen walking through the halls.
Scene: Brooke in NYC
Brooke climbs into a cab and tells him to go to airport cause she has to go see her family.
Scene: Nathan’s house
Carrie tells a picture of Jamie she will see him soon
Scene: Gym
Nathan tells Deb he can move back in cause Jamie needs him. He asks her if Skills really makes her happy. She tells him he does but then goes to tell him more but Nathan really doesn’t want to hear it. Hailey is on the phone. Hailey says “really, well ok thank you for calling as Andre and Jamie are playing basketball. Nathan joins Hailey and she tells him that Dan’s doctor said he was called for his heart but he never returned the call. Nathan responded by saying “I guess he really has gone off to die” as Jamie and Andre continue playing.
Scene: River Court
Nathan is dribbling basketball and shooting hoops when he see’s Q again. This time Skills joins the picture and Nathan looks none to happy. Skills tells Nathan he knows he’s been working with Q to get his game back. Nathan says Q told him he couldn’t go left. Nathan and Skills begin practicing as Nathan goes left for a jumper and makes it as we end tonight’s show
Next Monday: We see Jamie running through a field as Carrie is shown with a knife. Hailey is doing something as Carrie comes behind her with a knife. Jamie is still running as an arm comes out and grabs him.
