Here is a promotional video for 90210.

All new episodes of 90210 return January 6th, 2009.

The CW has decided that it wanted MORE episodes for some of their most popular TV shows: Gossip Girl, 90210, and One Tree Hill. Although all of these shows were given a “full season” of shows already the network has decided to add even more episodes to the shows. Gossip Girl got bumped up to 25 episodes for season 2, 90210 got bumped up to 24 episodes for season 1, and One Tree Hill got bumped up to 24 episodes for season 6.

Check out all of our coverage for Gossip Girl, 90210, and One Tree Hill.

josh henderson Josh Henderson to join the cast of 90210 Josh Henderson who currently stars in Desperate Housewives will be joining the cast of 90210. Henderson who plays the role of Edie’ nephew (I think.) on the housewives end of things.

Warning – Spoilers Below

Henderson will first appear during November sweeps, when the P.I. who’s been on the prowl for Harry’s son by Naomi’s mom, Tracy, turns up a real charmer named Sean. The new kid on the palms-lined block won’t wow everyone, however.

Dixon, for one, will feel displaced by his Dad’s biological boy, while a wary Debbie elects to keep her hubby’s illegitimate offspring at arm’s distance.

jasonpriestley Jason Priestley officially scheduled to direct an episode of 90210

As I mentioned in this post, Jason Priestley will be directing at least one episode of the new 90210. It is now official. Jason will be back to direct the 18th episode of the season, but still won’t be in FRONT of the camera (not yet anyway).

The 18th episode isn’t set to be aired until sometime in the spring.

shenaegrimessmoking Shenae Grimes is smoking!

Shenae Grimes of 90210 is seen in this picture smoking. I must say I was a bit surprised by it. I wonder what other things make her different from her character Annie on 90210.

I guess she’s decided to not eat , and just smoke instead. I like Penn Badgley’s idea that she have a cheeseburger.

pennbadgley90210cheeseburger Gossip Girls Penn Badgley says the girls of 90210 should eat a cheeseburger!

Penn Badgley who plays Dan Humphrey on Gossip Girl recently said that the girls on 90210 “should eat a cheeseburger”. Shenae Grimes who plays Annie on 90210 was asked about it by Extra, and all she said was “Shake it off, baby!” Shenae Grimes, and AnnaLynne McCord (also from 90210) were also asked about comparisons with the show, and AnnaLynne didn’t say much about the clothes, but that 90210’s make up is better.

Because of this gig here at thetvstop.com I decided to get caught up on various shows that you readers enjoy, and Gossip Girl is one of them. Telling the girls to eat a cheeseburger is definitely a Dan Humprey kind of thing to say, so his character is definitely written properly.

jessica lucas Jessica Lucas Joins 90210

Jessica Lucas who you have probably seen in Cloverfield, CSI, and various other movies is joining the cast of 90210. “The CW confirms that Jessica Lucas will be joining the CW’s 90210 Oct. 7 as a recurring character who gets romantic with one of the male series regulars.” says E! She will be playing “Kimberly” a transfer student.

I don’t know about you, but this makes it must see tv.

shenaegrimesandjessicastroup Shenae Grimes and Jessica Stroup from 90210 are too skinny!

Apparently 18 year old Shenae Grimes and 21 year old Jessica Stroup have gotten way too skinny. According to people involved with the show Shenae and Jessica have gotten even skinnier since the initial episodes that have been airing on the CW the last month. Some of the cast members, and crew planned an intervention to let the girls know what they were thinking, and to try and help them. The guys on the show are said to want to tell the girls that they don’t need to be so skinny. People from the set have said that they haven’t seen either girl eat anything.

I hope they relax, and get the help that they need. They also might want to have a talk with AnnaLynne McCord too because she’s looking pretty thin too. Especially since they got picked up for a full season.

90210 90210 Picked up for a full season

The CW has recently purchased a full season of the spinoff to an early 1990’s series 90210. The ratings for the show are not that great compared to other network shows, but the ratings for the show being on the CW are good, which I guess is what played the role in the decision to purchase a full season. So, to all you 90210 fans out there, all three of you, just kidding. You atleast have a full season to look forward to.

torispelling90210 Tori Spelling may still wind up on 90210

Apparently the door isn’t closed when it comes to whether or not Tori Spelling will be on the new 90210 spin off. She was slated to appear on the show, but when she found out that both Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty were being paid more than her she bailed. Recently she was asked if there was still a chance of her being on the show, and she said “Yeah, we’ll see. I’m a big believer in what’s meant to be will be, so if it’s meant to be it will work out,” she says. “I watched it and I think it’s so cute. The new cast is so cute.”

The good thing is she apparently likes the show, so thats a plus. The fact that Dylan (Luke Perry) is now named as Kelly’s sons father Sammy he might feel compelled to drop by. Let’s also not forget that Jason Priestly has said he’d be more than happy to direct an episode or two if time permitted (he’s a busy guy these days apparently). He’s not going to be free til January, so we’ll see how things play out, but hey if he’s there to direct why not pop in a few scenes? Who does that leave? Steve (Ian Ziering) I read he’s not interested, but if others show up he might just give in and do it. Brian Austin Green is busy with Terminator on Fox, so I doubt he can get the time, but who knows?
