With the second season of Dollhouse vastly approaching us, we can only hope that the show continues with all the hot action, that the second half of the first season provided us. I loved the entire first season, but some people only loved the second half, regardless the second season is now here.

With the second season of Fox’s show Dollhouse approaching, we’re gathering together as much about the show as we can.

Summer Glau will be joining the cast in the second season of the sophomore show on Fox, and the second season is rumored to include more action, adventure and spark than the first. The unaired episode of Dollhouse was a total knockout, and I don’t see why Fox didn’t air it, but whatever they gave the show another season thanks to fans like yourself. A few days ago we showed you some promotional photos for season two of Dollhouse, to get you in the mood for season two. Now we have some photos for episode 2.01 “Vows”.

In season two of Dollhouse, at least in this episode we can tell you that our beloved Echo gets married. Another thing that becomes apparent is, Paul tries to get Echo to remember things about her past, in order to save his life. Paul might also not be happy about Echo getting married.

The second season of Dollhouse premiers on Friday September, 25th 2009 on Fox.

A traitor is discovered inside the Dollhouse. Echo and Sierra are programmed to find the spy who has been changing the Doll’s imprints. It is Dominick.

Adelle wrestles with her secret love affair with the imprinted Victor. Ballard receives surprising news from Mellie.

Echo, Sierra and Victor awaken in the Dollhouse with most of their original personalities and memories intact. They have been put into an experimental environment in order to resolve repeating behaviors. Echo deviates from her programming and leads the charge to free the Actives from their apparent captivity in order to escape the Dollhouse forever.

Good news for all you fans of Joss Whedon shows, his show Dollhouse has been renewed by Fox for 13 episodes.

Personally I think Dollhouse being renewed is outstanding news. I liked the show, and I really think it deserves another shot. Maybe even a better time, and day would do the show a little more justice too.

Eliza Dushku stars as a member of an illegal group who have had their personalities wiped clean so they can be imprinted with new persona’s.

“The premise of the show is that Eliza is one of a group of people who have basically had their personalities wiped and can be imprinted with any personality that anybody could want and they are hired out for various things. Some of them are illegal, some are romantic. They’re very expensive. The whole thing’s underground and so Eliza, every week, has a different problem to solve, person to help, thing to do, crime, whatever it is, action, romance. The idea was to keep lots of different genres going at once and always have her do something fresh for herself, but at the same time, when she’s in her wiped state, when she’s not imprinted with a personality, she has this childlike innocence and she lives in this sort of lab, dorm, spa place called the Dollhouse.”

“I’m excited about Echo. I think that’s an awesome name, Echo, and I’m excited about the fact that she’s in this entirely manipulated world but that she’s human. I mean, we’re not dealing with robots. It’s a universal thing that everyone can relate to and understand which is, like, trying to figure her true self, trying to figure out who she is. She doesn’t really know she’s trying to figure it out but it’s, especially in my life, I feel like you can be pulled in every direction and people want you to be a different person and people want you to be their version of you. And I really like the idea of exploring this young woman who doesn’t know who she is, we don’t think, but something deep inside her does and is going to start making it known.”
