LIZ (TINA FEY) FIGHTS THE IDEA OF GOING TO HER HIGH SCHOOL REUNION, WHILE JACK (ALEC BALDWIN) DEALS WITH BAD NEWS; RIP TORN GUEST STARS
Liz (Fey) is opposed to going to her high school reunion, but Jack (Baldwin) manages to convince her otherwise. Meanwhile, Don Geiss (guest star Rip Torn) wakes up from his coma only to shock Jack with his declaration about who will be GE’s CEO. Shaken, Jack decides to get away to blow off steam, but bad weather forces him to tag along with Liz to her reunion instead. Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer also star.

According to EW Mad Men star Jon Hamm will be guest starring on 30 Rock. He will be playing a potential love interest for Tina Fey’s character Liz. He’ll be a neighbor of hers.

30 Rock will return to Television in one week, but thanks to the magic of the internet, the first episode of season three has been released online, and we’ve got it for you. Check it out below.

NEW YORK – October 10, 2008 – Salma Hayek (“Ugly Betty,” “Frida”) will recur as “Elisa,” Jack Donaghy’s (Alec Baldwin) new love interest on NBC’s two-time Emmy Award-winning comedy “30 Rock.”

“Salma is truly a gifted talent and an incredible force in our industry,” said Teri Weinberg, Executive Vice President, NBC Entertainment. “I’ve had the privilege of working with her and I can’t wait to see what comedic sparks fly with our brilliant ‘30 Rock’ cast.”

Tina Fey from 30 Rock mentioned that she wanted Oprah Winfrey to come onto the show, and well…its happening. Tina said she’d want her to play her best friend, but thats yet to be determined. Oprah will be in scenes with Fey, so we’ll see. Oprah will be appearing in the 2nd episode of the season.

Sources are reporting that NBC plans to release five episodes of it’s television shows online one week before they are aired on television, in an attempt to generate buzz for their shows. Good idea? Maybe.

hulu will have the episodes of Knight Rider, and returning NBC shows: 30 Rock, Lipstick Jungle, Chuck, and Life; one week before their original TV air date is scheduled.

I think this proves NBC has confidence in their shows, if they didn’t;would they air the shows online a week before they go on TV? I didn’t think so either.
